Take Action

Let's get to it

We feel muy.. muy… EXCITED(!!!) that you’re here. We really can’t End Chancla Culture
without you. This movement is like a vast, fluid, and powerful ocean. You might be here
ready to scuba dive. You may just want to walk along the wet sand and listen to the
crashing of the waves. There are different ways to participate in and experience the
Latinx Parenting vision. We invite you to immerse yourself, at your own pace, and with an
open heart. Vamos a la playa!

Our Courses are ways that we further connect and integrate this community with our intentions and concrete practices and tools that serve as a life vest in those challenging moments where we are out of alignment with the vision we have for ourselves, as parents, caregivers, or former children who want to unlearn that which no longer serves us in a way that honors our ancestors and descendants. Invest in your parenting, re-parenting or professional development opportunity with our more in depth series or intensive.

BRING LATINX PARENTING TO YOU

We are up against a whole paradigm of people who want to pathologize parents,
students, families, and our entire culture.

Because of this, we think it’s powerful when we can bring entire schools, parent groups, organizations into the Latinx Parenting experience, in English or in Spanish. We offer onetime workshops, multiple day intensives, or full series for parents and professionals. Each partnership is a personalized learning experience for the needs of your group.

FAQs

No! Our offerings are not only for Latinx staff or service providers. It is especially important for service providers of all backgrounds to become culturally competent and aware especially if they work with Latinx families.
This depends on our calendar! We prefer at least 4-6 weeks to schedule.
Please make us aware as soon as you get in touch. We understand that many organizations have fiscal funds to allocate before the end of your fiscal year. We do our best to accommodate with urgency.

Protect your children. Teach them what is love can feel like vs what love is not. Yes, we must respect our elders but that does not mean suppressing our own emotions to satisfy their need to feel in power.

We know we can do better so we are doing it. It's hard but it's going to be worth It. Te lo prometo.
